Delete Your Data
This page explains how users of the BuyLater mobile app can request deletion of their account and associated personal data. We process deletion requests within 30 days.
1. Delete local data (offline mode)
If you use BuyLater without an account, all data stays on your device only.
- Open the BuyLater app.
- Go to Settings → Delete All Data.
- Confirm the action.
This permanently removes wishlist items, photos, notes, decision history, and app settings from your device. Alternatively, uninstalling the app removes all local data.
2. Delete account and cloud data (online mode)
If you have a BuyLater account with cloud sync, you can delete your account and all synced server data as follows:
- Open the BuyLater app.
- Go to Settings → Delete Account and Data.
- Confirm the action.
This permanently deletes your Supabase account and all synced data from our servers. This action cannot be undone.
Request by email: Send a message to kjlabs.studio@gmail.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request. Include the email address linked to your BuyLater account so we can verify your identity.
3. Delete “Notify Me” email address
If you signed up for product updates via the landing page “Notify Me” form (separate from your app account), email kjlabs.studio@gmail.com with the subject Data Deletion Request and include the email address you submitted.
4. What data is deleted
- Account profile and authentication data (online mode)
- Synced wishlist items, notes, photos, and decision history
- “Notify Me” email addresses upon request
- Local app data when you use in-app deletion or uninstall the app
5. Data that may be retained
- Subscription records managed by Apple App Store or Google Play and RevenueCat may be retained for legal and financial compliance. Cancel your subscription separately in your device’s subscription settings — account deletion does not cancel billing.
- Minimal server logs or backups may be retained for a limited period where required by law or for security, then deleted automatically.
6. More information
